so i decided to make an IMC campaign out of it.

DOMESTIC ABUSE
WHY DO WE STAY?
the victims think they’re in love, and they’re the only one on earth that can help their deeply troubled man win over his own demon.
in short, they’re MISTAKEN ABOUT LOVE.
the victims might not even be fully aware of the abuse.
she struggles to find the way out and she false-believes in her own excuses.

i was in an abusive relationship and from my point of view i could say:

but only MYSELF did.
so we are not here to tell the abusers to stop their actions. it’s not our job to fix a broken man. or to raise any awareness. it’s not a new story.
we are here to have an intimate talk with domestic abuse victims.
unveil her excuse curtains. raise her self-esteem.
and remind her that SHE GOT LOVE which she’s been thirsting for. real ones.

i am not talking about opening a YouTube channel or a Facebook group particularly. we do as many as possible, as far as our arms can reach to those in need.
we pick several domestic abuse survivors and encourage them to be our talkers, sharing their personal stories and how they manage to break out of their past toxic relationships.
there is nothing more authentic than letting the former victims stand up for themselves and for those who currently are in the same situation.

SECRET LOVESAVER
a device hidden in the shape of women’s daily goods that can connect to Đẹp Magazine mobile app such as
bracelets / lipsticks / hair ties / key chains / earphones so that victims can easily reach out when the violence occurs.

as they click on the button to activate the device, it will act as a microphone to record all the sounds at their homes, which are expected to be screaming, crying, object-breaking noises.
the device can automatically connect it to victims’ phones by bluetooth to real-timely upload audios on Đẹp magazine app, where a special function will be dedicated to collecting them and sending them to our SOS line.
these data will be processed to evaluate the seriousness of the situation to further seek help from the police department with the location of the victims.
they can also be utilized as critical evidence to support victims on later steps.
i didn't do this for the sake of having some initiatives for this portfolio, i did it for the girl i once was,
